A funny! :o)~

When I had been married for 25 years, I took a look at my wife one day and said, "Honey, 25 years ago, we had a cheap apartment, a cheap car, slept on a sofa bed, and watched a 10-inch black and white TV. But I got to sleep every night with a hot 25-year-old blonde."

"Now, we have a nice house, nice car, a big king-sized bed, and an 80 inch plasma screen TV. But I'm sleeping with a 50-year-old woman. It seems to me that you're not holding up your side of things."

My wife is a very reasonable woman. She told me to go out and find a hot 25-year-old blonde, and she would make absolutely sure that I would once again be living in a cheap apartment, driving a cheap car, sleeping on a sofa bed, and watching a 10-inch black and white TV.

Aren't older women great? They really know how to solve your problems in a hurry.

What a night! lol

.....Just to let you know, nothing in this journal's entry is toward anyone in specific, I use it to write my feelings, and about my illnesess, and in hopes it might help someone else as I do.I do not pretend nor imatate to be someone I'm not. And if you might take an entry wrong and feel that it is about you, I'm sorry but It isn't, it just may seem to coincide with your own life. And if there is something in what I write that "offends" you, options; don't read, or realize that this IS real life, and get out of your plastic bubble and learn more about it! God bless you!......

Good afternoon! I hope all are well. :o)

Yesterday really seemed to just drag on and on for me. I don't know why, just some days are like that! :o)
Dh was home yesterday....he worries about me when he knows I'm alone. Espeically now that I'm back on those medicines. I can feel the difference already in my joints. But, I have to cope with the side effects. I can do it. :o) No biggie. :o)

He was out mowing the lawn, and he came in...he didn't look very good! His blood pressure was high again! :o( I wish he would go to the doctors...he has insurance so he can, but he's too stuborn! ggrr!

My daughter and my grandson came over last night! YAY! :o) I wish I could bottle up what having my family around, does for me! :o)
My grandson was being his onry little self! LOL My daughter was playing with him on the floor and he did something that just made her laugh so hard! LOL It was funny! :o ) Her laugh is so contageous! lol And I just so happened to have my camera! lol So...I taped her laughing! My grandson thought she was crying and came over to console her! :o) It was just so funny! :o)
I went to bed right after they left last night, which wasn't late at all. I didn't get up this morning until 9:30! I can't believe that I slept 11 and 1/2 hours! When I got up...my dh said that he was just getting ready to come check on me! He was worried! Bless his heart! :o) So...now my day is all screwed up...lol. Oh well! :o) My body must have needed it! :o)
Well....I need o get off of here...starting to get pretty dizzy again! ggrr! :o) I'll do my best to get to your journals and answer your emails! :o)

Things to be thankful for!

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it. For example,

1.I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.

2.When I'm feeling down, I like to whistle. It makes the neighbor's dog that barks all the time run to the end of his chain and gag himself.

3.If you can't be kind, at least have the decency to be vague.

4.A penny saved is a government oversight.

5.The older you get, the tougher it is to lose weight, because by then your body and your fat are really good friends.

6.The easiest way to find something lost around the house is to buy a replacement.

7.He who hesitates is probably right.

8.If you can smile when things go wrong, you have someone in mind to blame.

9.The sole purpose of a child's middle name is so he can tell when he's really in trouble.

10.How long a minute is depends on what side of the bathroom door you're on.

11.If ignorance is bliss, why aren't more people happy?

12.Most of us go to our grave with our music still inside of us.

13.If Wal-Mart is lowering prices every day, how come nothing is free yet?

14.You may be only one person in the world, but you may also be the world to one person.

15.Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.

16.Don't cry because it's over: smile because it happened.

17.We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors.......but they all have to learn to live in the same box.

18.Everything should be made as simple as possible, but no simpler.

19.A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour.

20.Happiness comes through doors you didn't even know you left open.

21.Once over the hill, you pick up speed.

22.I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food.

23.If not for STRESS I'd have no energy at all.

24.Whatever hits the fan will not be evenly distributed.

25.Everyone has a photographic memory. Some just don't have film.

26.I know God won't give me more than I can handle. I just wish He didn't trust me so much.

27.You don't stop laughing because you grow old. You grow old because you stop laughing.

28.Dogs have owners. Cats have staff.

29.We cannot change the direction of the wind... but we can adjust our sails.

30.If the shoe fits......buy it in every colour (YES!)

Good morning all!

Yesterday was filled with good news! :o) I've been waiting on 2 phone calls for months now, and I got the, both yesterday one right after the other! YAY! :o)
The first one was the one for going to see the ms specialist in Cincy! :o) She told me that it takes up to 6 - 8 months to get in there, and thats why it took so long! :o) My appointment is September 18! YAY! :o)
The next phone call was about Ohio Home Care Program! :o) I signed a waver for that months ago as well. It's just like Passport, but for my age group! :o) The lady told me that she will be coming here next week on the 8th to go through the house and see what all I need! Wow! And they will pay for it! Plus so many other things like taking me to places to get me out of the house and if I need a ride to a doctors appointment! :o) Plus meals on wheels because of the low cholesteral diet I'm on. It pays to wait! :o) In God's time! :o)

And NEVER give up hope! :o) I kept forgetting to also let you all know that the lost dog we had....dh told me that in the morning when he went in the garage to fo to work, the dog was still there! When he pulled his car out, he said that the dog ran...and he followed him....he lived about 3 blocks in the opposite direction of us...and went right home! :o) We haven't seen him since! I'm so glad that he found his way home! :o)

Yesterday....my daughter came and picked me up to go to the movies! :o) She does her best to help and get me out of the house when I'm not able to. :o) We get there and then go in and we sat in the back row! :o) Including us...there were a total of 10 people in the theater. :o) I am still a bit dizzy and off balance...and you know how it is in the theater...its on a slant! LOL Well...I kind of got dizzier and was having a hard time with my balance and it was so funny to just try and sit down! LOL After the movie..lol...I was worse! LOL :o) It was too funny...I bet I looked funny too! I know my daughter laughed! LOL :o)
I loved the movie! :o) And to see John Travolta like that was a hoot!!! LOL :o) I give the movie 2 thumbs up! :o)
Today....I don't have anything planned....but who knows, that might change! :o)
I hope that you all have a great day! Gods blessings to all of you! :o)

A better day/and my grandson's project

.....Just to let you know, nothing in this journal's entry is toward anyone in specific, I use it to write my feelings, and about my illnesess, and in hopes it might help someone else as I do.I do not pretend nor imatate to be someone I'm not. My day yesterday was better then I expected. :o) I'm not taking any of the medicines that I took myself off of. I only ordered the ones that I kept asking my doctor for, the ones that I take for my fibromyalgia and arthritis. :o)
The dizziness isn't as bad as it was yesterday. :o) And I can tell a bit of a difference already, as if my joints are getting oiled! :o) And that feels good! :o)
My physical therapist was here this morning and could already tell a difference as well. This is good! :o)

Again today...since I'm alone in the house...I'm not going to do anything. Just to be on the safe side. :o)
This afternoon, my daughter and I are going to see the movie Hair Spray! :o) We both love John Travolta and we just have to see this movie! lol :o) I've seen the original and can't wait to see how they re did the movie! lol :o) So...I think I can do that...she will drive because I'm not able to right now. I don't trust myself yet.

I got another surprise last night! :o) My daughter and her boy friend and my grandson all came over last night! :o) She called dh to see what we were having for dinner and we were having spanish hot dogs from BK Rootbeer. :o) ( coney dogs) And here they come already on their way! :o) I loved it! :o) My grandson had a speech class yesterday and they met at The Brukner Nature Center! :o) I love that place! The children had and assignment to go on the trails and pick up things and put them in a little bag! When they got back....they pasted those things on construction paper! :o) My daughter brought it over...and we both had tears! :o) His first little project! Too cute! :o)
My son had called me to let me know that they got to Gattlinburg alright. Whew! I worried! lol I know I worry too much at times! :o) Just being a mom! :o) Thats what I always tell my kids. lol :o) I guess Im still overly protective of them! :o) Just can't help it. :o)

I need to go now....the medicines that I take in the mornings are starting to kick in!
I hope you all have a great day! Thank you for your advice and your comments....I do appreciate it! :o)
Gods blessings to all of you! :o)

My medicine's...YAY!

.....Just to let you know, nothing in this journal's entry is toward anyone in specific, I use it to write my feelings, and about my illnesess, and in hopes it might help someone else as I do.I do not pretend nor imatate to be someone I'm not.                        Good morning! :o)

Well....yeaterday I had to call in a refill at my doctors so they could call it in for me at the pharmacy.
Before I did it...I got an idea! Yep...finally a light turned on in my head! LOL :o)
Since all of the medications that I was on would be listed in my files....I thought I'd get out the card that I carry in my purse with the list of the medicines and try calling them in as well! Just to see if I could get back on them. Since I have a stupid doctor that won't give me refills or scripts...I called in 3 of them!

I got a call from my doctors office...and I thought, "Oh no!" But....it was good news! The nurse let me know that she had just called them in to my pharmacy for me! YESSSS! :o)
So, last night I took them and oh boy! Since it's been so long without all of those meds., I'm pretty loopy right now! lol :o) Well, more than usual! LOL So...I'm going to do it again today and call in the rest of my medicines that I was on! :o) I didn't know yesterday if I should call them all in...I didn't want them to think that something was up! I really do not like this doctor...so I thought I'd give it a try! :o)
Now I'm not on medication just for my seizures! So...I now know not to even bother asking my doctor and just do it this way! :o) He tells me that he doesn't treat fibromyalgia, but in my opinion, that doesn't mean that he still can't give me my refills! Good grief! I have an appointment in a few weeks about my insurance...and I'mgoing to ask then about changing my doctor because he's a quack!

Whew! lol I had to take some meds. this morning...and I can start to feel them making me pretty dizzy! Yikes! I'm home alone. My son and his girl friend left last night to go to Gatlinburg and won't be back until next Wednesday! :o) I know they'll have fun! :o)
But I don't like being alone when I feel like this....it's scary! Espcially if I'm having a hard enough time to just sit in this chair!
So...I'll do my best to get around to all of your journals! :o)

I really need to get off of here now! :o) I don't think I'll be doing anything today! lol :o)
I hope that all of you have a great day! :o) Gods blessings to all of you! :o)
