*This -n- That*

Good morning! :o) I'm slowly but surely getting better. :o) I want to thank all of you that have left comments and sent me emails! :o)
My last entry...I copied and pasted to re post just to help in my way. I'm not able to donate, but I am able to pray! And I have and will continue for them. God bless them! Amen.
Today...all I'm going to do is rest and pray for everyone. By at least writing in this journal, I don't feel so helpless in wanting to be able to help those in need. I'm here for all of you.
It took me 2 1/2 hours to go through my email! lol :o) Wow! I had over 90! I'm not complaining. :o) I like to respond to all of them as well. :o) Because I appreciate the time that someone took to do that. And I do hope that I cleared something up in an email that I recieved. Yes, I have changed! Like I've said in a past entry; from this past year, I'm glad the things that have happened to me, because it has made me a better person this day and stronger with my faith! :o) And God knows my past was a life lesson for me. By keeping my faith in God, I do know everything will always work out! :o) If you want to ask me more questions; I don't mind getting emails at all. :o)
I wasn't able to get my deep tissue massage this morning because of having a fever. Thats ok....I can wait. :o) I just took my medicines and they are starting to hit me! Whew! :o) I'd better stop for now. :o) Again, thank you for your emails and comments! :o) May God bless you all! :o)

**UUUGGHHH**

Well....I was finally able to go back to bed this morning at 4:30. I forgot that I had a doctors appointment today! eeekkk! So, I had 1 1/2 hours of sleep this morning...which I feel is better then I thought I was going to get! Whew! :o) I had enough time to get ready and wait for my mom. She takes me to my appointments so she knows what each doctor tells me, (that way, one of us will remember lol ). She didn't show, so I went ahead and drove myself. No biggie! :o) I get there and find out that my blood pressure is high and I have a fever! Yikes! The doctor told me that I just have what is going around....which I already thought that, and I told him that this was also whats going around in my house as well! He gave me 3 scripts to have filled to help take care of this whatever it is, cold/flu thingy. He was also my new family doctor. I really liked him! I got that part out of the way...the "if I trust him or not." I do! :o) On my way to get my scripts filled, I found out that my mom got some great news! We've all been praying for her! :o) For over a year now, she's been looking to buy a house. She prayed and put it in God's hands. She said when He thought she would be ready, He would guide her in the right direction....and she got a house that she really liked in town here! YAY! I'm so happy for her! :o) As she told me on the phone...God seen that she got a house with the things that she and my sister needed! :o) YESSS! I'm so happy for her! :o) So, I'm fine...just am still sick, and everything has come together for my mom! :o) I was able to get a few more hours of sleep after I took my medicines. :o) I put leftover beef and noodles on the stove to heat up and my son's girlfriend is making the mashed potatoes! :o) My daughter and my grandson are leaving tonight to go to her dads house. She and her boy friend are going to an amusement park and her dad and stepmom are going to watch my grandson! :o)
The doctor told me to drink hot liquids until I'm better...so when I came home, I made a pot of decaf coffee! I didn't have time this morning to have my coffee! I'm "nothing" until I have some coffee! LOL :o) j/k So...thats what I'm drinking right now. I'm still getting real hot, then cold, and then I'm both! Geesh! LOL That feels too funny! :o) I'm pretty weak and shaky right now, and I was going to get on line to check my email and write in myjournal then try to get some rest and eat. :o) Maybe not in that order! lol :o)
Thank you all for your comments and thank you for the new comers to my journal! Always welcome here! :o) Gentle hugs and may God bless all of you! :o)

~Not sleeping~

Well....I'm still awake tonight! <sigh> I'm still not feeling very good. My daughter and my grandson are sick now as well. Poor things. I know how I feel...so I could only imagine how they feel. My grandson is asleep and my daughter is still up with me as well.
I took some more nightquil to help with my cold/flu. I just layed in bed trying to get comfortable, and I couldn't find it! My spine is hurting pretty bad, and so are my hips. I can actually feel the spurs! Yikes! I wonder how much more my spine has deteriated. The last time I seen my pf, he check my spine and told me that it has gotten worse sooner then he even thought. Soooo, I know it isn't any better. When I got up, I took a pain pill. I've also been so thirsty with this cold/flu! I've been downing bottles of water! :o) In fact...I need to get another bottle! :o) Geesh! :o)
I want to share this! :o) My son is a drummer in a band, and he has a drum set in the basement and he practices with them. My mom got my grandson a little drum set for his birthday! :o) He loves it! :o) Well....earlier when my son was down in the basement practicing, I took my grandson down there so he could see his Uncle playing the drums! :o) It was sooo cute! He loved it! My son got up and let him sit and play! :o) He held the drum sticks properly and went to town! lol :o) My daughter ran up stairs and grabbed the camcorder! :o) She got some, but he was getting tired! I wanted to somehow put that on youtube so I could share that moment with you all! :o) He's a true drummer just like my son was! :o) My grandpa was a drummer as well, and he taught my son how to drum and now my son is teaching my grandson! :o) I love it! :o)
By the way...I didn't write the last entry. I got it in an email, and it inspired me, and I wanted to share that as well. :o)
Oh...and also if there is anyone that I haven't sent a post card to, and would want one frome me, please let me know! :o) I love this game! :o)
Well....by the way I feel right now...I'm going to be up for awhile! :o) Oh well! lol :o) I;ll just play games on Pogo! lol :o)
Thats all for now! Thank you all for the nice and encouraging comments! :o) I really appreciate them all! :o) God bless you all! :o)

~A thought~

There was once a mother who loved to hang the laundry out on the clothesline in the backyard. Her baby crawled through the sheets and towels that almost touched the grass. The baby didn't talk yet, so nobody knew what she was thinking.

Ten years later, the baby, twelve years old, told her that her happiest memory of childhood was playing in her "playhouse" of laundry on the line. She remembered thinking that her mother hung the sheets out there just so she could play in the grass and wind and sun!

How wonderful to be living in a world where we can accidentally make people happy! This knowledge is a miraculous gift, and can give us reason to do every task well and with love, because it may be remembered for a lifetime by someone near to us.
