~Another pretty day out!

.....Just to let you know, nothing in this journal's entry is toward anyone in specific, I use it to write my feelings, and about my illnesess,and in hopes it might help someone else as I do. And if you might take an entry wrong and feel that it is about you, I'm sorry but It isn't, it just may seem to coincide with your own life. May God bless you!......

Good afternoon! :o)  I hope that everyone is feeling good or at least okay! :o)

It's nice and sunny out here today....but as we all know, here in Ohio....that doesn't mean it'll stay that way for very long! lol I heard on the weather report that it's suppose to snow on Wednesday!  Ohio weather is so weird! :o)
It does make the people that live here with arthritisis and other illnesses, hurt. Yikes!

I know I can't use a pain chart anymore...unless I can add my own numbers to it! And the ones they use in the doctors offices with the faces...yea right! lol How about a 45 pain level today, and my face looks like...um...I don't see it on the chart! :o) There are days like that! lol I take my own! :o)
I had an appt. yesterday to see my arthritis specialist, and it's a pretty long drive for my mom and ride for me. We get there and I sign in and do the usual. The waiting room was packed!  My mom and I are sitting there talking and had been there for about 45 minutes which was fine with me. What was not fine was when out of no where, the receptionist yells from her little window to me, "Lisa, do you have this month's insurance card?" I started to get up to go and talk to her AT the window privately like I feel you're suppose to do! She continued on...and told me to just stay where I was and just answer her!!! What? She did NOT just say that!!! Needless to say, the whole room was looking at me by then! I didn't really care about that, what I did care about was her rudness and how she handled this! I told her that since the 1st was on a Sunday, I didn't get it on Saturday, and my mail doesn't run in that early in the morning, so I would be getting it in the mail later on. She then said, "Well then the doctor can not see you!" I said, "Why not?"  She said because I didn't have a current insurance card!!! By now....the whole waiting room was getting in on this! Thankfully on my side! Whew! :o)

A lady asked me if I had last months on me? I said yes....I asked the receptionist if I could just give that to her, and she said NO! The only thing that changes is the month on my insurance card! gggrrr! And someone else said, That this was not right of the doctor or her for being so nasty to me!!! Of course I agreed! I told the recptionist that I was sorry about not getting the new insurance card yet, and that it was NOT my fault because it was something that I had no control over! Which was/is true! That seemed to make her pretty mad! Well...sorry if the truth hurts! By then, she had me so upset, and embaressed on top of that, I didn't know what to do. I didn't even want to see the doctor. This is the same doctor that tells me the last visit that he didn't want to see me again until I had my YMCA membership for water arobics!!! As if! Like he would pay for that?! No...a doctor is NOT suppose to do that....what he is suppose to do is call the hospital where I live, and have me go to the physical therapy water therepy there. But he didn't! So...After this 3 ring circus going on....I stood up and told the receptionist that there was one thing that I COULD control and I was going to! I walked out! I will never go back to him ever again and be treated that way!
The people in the waiting room were proud of me! :o) I thanked them for their support with the rude receptionist! :o) Well...it's not like I stood up and took a bow..lol I was quit about it. lol

There are people in this world that I just can't understand! Honestly! And if I can keep them out of MY life...I will! :o)

My daughter and my son are out back playing with my grandson right now! :o) I gave my camera to my daughter so she can take pictures of (K)! I can't wait to see them! :o)

By the way....for some reason, I've been having a few problems with my computer....so if I'm slow at getting to your journal...just know I'll be there! :o) I don't know what's wrong. I don't have the energy to even try to find out what's wrong and fix it.
Just know I'm still here! :o) I'm not going anywhere! LOL :o) Not that I'm aware of that is! :o)
I'm going to go and see what they're doing out back! :o)
