wow!

The baby and Nena are home now. I'm very excited. :o) I'm getting back into my routine a bit more now. It's helping my pain level better now. Right now my pain level according to my scale is about a 7 and 1/2. This whole week has been such a whirl wind for all of us. :o) It's beautiful to see my daughter and the baby together. :o) She's a natural mommy. :o) God bless them both. :o)

I'm a grandma!!!!!! :o)

My daughter finally had her baby yesterday on the 26th! :o) She did great! I am so proud of her! :o) She was in labor for only 8 hours! Whew! :o) She had to have the baby by c-section because of her pelvic bone was too small. But she and the baby are doing great! :o) His name is Kayden Joshua, and he weighs 7 lbs. 7 oz., and is 21 inches long! Wow! :o) He's so beautiful! :o) He was born at 1:14 pm. :o) I was up for a day and a half....but I was doing pretty good myself! :o) I guess it was the love and excitment of the birth! :o) Gentle hugs to all...!

Still no baby yet. :o(

Well.....today is my daughter's due date. At her last appointment, the doctor told her that the baby is ready, but her body isn't. :o( The baby's head is at 0 now....from a -1, which is great. They made her another appointment for tomorrow to give the baby another NST, and an ultra sound to check the fluid, and to see if she will be able to carry the baby longer. :o( The poor thing is so miserable. She's been walking every night. She walks in the house when it was raining. She's doing everything that she can do. I feel so bad for her. I wish there was something I can do. I feel so helpless. The contractions are still there, and last night she did have a tint of blood after urinating. After seeing that, she took another walk. Hopefully it will be today.

My pain level has gotten higher. I've been doing my best to keep my stress level down. I catch myself pulling my shoulders up and not realizing it. Now my right shoulder and upper arm is in a lot of pain again. I'm just worried about my daughter. :o) So....again, the next time I write, I'm hoping I'll be a grandma! :o)

What another few days! :o)

Well....nothing yet so far on my daughter. :o( She is still in the first stages of labor, and is still having small contractions. The poor thing is miserable. She's been doing a lot of walking. I needed to go to the mall and the grocery yesterday, and I had her go with me. :o) By the time we both got home...lol...we were both worn out. :o) I took a nap. :o) I'm doing my best to keep up my strength for her, and to keep my pain level down. Right now it is about a 6 1/2. Not too bad. She has a doctors appointment this morning, and I think he might induce her. At least thats what the nurse said. :o) So....the next time I write, I just might be a grandma! :o) YAY! :o) Gentle hugs to all! :o)

Just because. :o)

I didn't realize how long it has been since I last wrote!

Wow! It's been a week! So much has happened in this week. Whew! :o) I don't know where to begin. :o) Ok...with me, I had a doctors appointment on Tuesday to see my fibro doctor. He was impressed with my progress! :o) All of the new medicines that he put me on have been really working, and I'm so glad, and not in as much pain. My pain level has dropped to a 6! Yes! :o) Plus, I've even lost more weight...I don't know how because I'm not trying. But that helps my body out as well. :o) So far, I've lost a total of 30 pounds! :o) And with this new diet that I'm on, and just started...I'll probably lose more. :o) I've been doing my best to keep rested up, just in case my daughter has the baby. This whole week, she has been having contractions, and they have been the real thing, not the braxton hicks. :o) I took her to the hospital on Tuesday to be checked, because she thought she might have leaked some water....she didn't. She is now at -1, which means the baby's head is closer to the birth canal. :o) Still at 2 cm. though. Yesterday, she started having harder contractions that were about 2-5 minutes apart. :o) We waited till the evening, then I took her back to the hospital. They monitored her, and then they had her walk for an hour. They checked her again, and told her that they would admit her, but they aren't able to let her eat while there, so they sent her home again. But, the nurse did tell her that it will be in the next say or two! :o) YAY! So....she will be walking some more today! lol I know I can't wait as much as she can't! :o) Gentle hugs to all. :o)

Things are still looking up! :o)

As for my daughter......I really feel it's anytime now! :o) I'm surprised she hasn't had the baby yet. :o) Her contractions are getting a bit harder, and the baby isn't moving as often. :o) ::::::crossing my fingers::::::: Very happy grandma here! :o)

I went to the liver specialist on Wednesday. I really learned so much from him. So many things I never knew about. The good news is my liver is fine! YAY! Whew! :o) What is making my blood readings high is my intake of food and drinks! I had no idea! So, what I have to do now is just change that. And I will. :o) I've been reading up on the different foods and drinks that do this to me, and I'm going to do it gradually. Coffee in the morning is going to be a harder one to change. But, I can do it. :o) Other then that one, the rest will be easy to manage. :o) I really feel blessed that my liver is fine. :o)

Things are looking up! :o)

My daughter had her weekly doctors appointment yesturday. Last week she was 1 cm. and this week the baby's head is so low, the doctor couldn't tell how many more cm's she is! So.....it's any time now! :o)

I finally got my scripts yesturday. Geesh! It took long enough. I wish the doctors could feel and go through what I had to the days that I didn't have my medicines. I was able to slepp 5 and a half hours last night! :o) YAY! Finally! :o) The down side of it all is that now my body has to get used to the medicines all over again. Thats ok, I really need them. Without them.....I could really tell a big difference. Tomorrow I'm suppose to go to this liver specialist. I'm not looking forward to it at all. But, if it will help with what ever is wrong, I'll do it. I do know that they want to take a liver biopsy. My best friend just had one 2 weeks ago, and it isn't as bad as I thought. Whew! I think whats messing up my liver is all these pills that were tried on me to see what would work to help. Thats the price you got to pay I suppose. Gentle hugs to all. :o)

What a week.

This hasn't been too good of a week for me. I have a weekly pill holder for all of my pills. I fill it up, then call in or drop off the scripts I need. I ran out of 3 of the major pills that I desperetly need. I still don't have them! Now I'm going through with drawls, and having more pain then I can write. I haven't slept in two days now. This is awful. If only the doctors knew what they are putting me through. I have the shakes pretty bad as well. I've called them, and so have the pharmacy, and they haven't returned the calls for my scripts. This is like playing phone tag, and with something that I can't play with....my health. I'm just doing the best that I can with the pain, and no sleep. Now when I do finally get them, my body will have to go through getting used to them all over again. :o( Not a good thing, because these are very strong medicines. I'm hanging in there. :o)

Wow!

My daughter has been having the braxton hicks contraction still. She had a doctors appointment yesterday, and she is now 1 cm. along! YAY! The doctor said that the baby's head is down, and right there! It could be any time now! :o)

I'm still having problems with weakness from my hips down to my legs. Again, my right arm and shoulder area are still giving me problems. My pain level has been about a 7. Pretty good for me. :o) I was able to get 8 hours of sleep the night before, so that has helped me out a lot. :o) Last night it was 4 hors again....but, I was so happy just to get that much. :o) Better then some nights. So....things haven't changed much, and to me, thats a good thing. :o)

What a week.

This whole week has been an up and down week. On Wednesday, my daughter had an altrasound done, and it's definitly a boy! :o) She is still having the braxton hicks contractions. The doctor said that she could have him any time now, he's in position. :o)

Now......me....my pain level has been up and down all week. I have been having problems with weakness from my hips down through both legs. My left leg is still the worst. Sometimes it will "drag" on me when I walk. I don't understand that one. Of course my right arm and shoulder area have been giving me big pain...and my left knee. My left knee will feel as if it has been cut wide open, and gushing out blood. I don't know any other way to describe it. My right arm is still going numb on me, with the pain in my shoulder area. I've been looking into getting another bed so I can sleep better. That hasn't changed either. I'm still not getting much sleep, which I know will contribute to a lot of the pain. But...thats about it...nothing too new going on. :o)
