Can't sleep again...

Once again I'm not able to sleep. I keep trying....but no luck. The large cramps in my legs are hurting pretty bad. That could be one of the reasons I'm not able to sleep.
My son got back tonight! :o) I feel so much better that he is home and safe. I prayed for him to get back safely. :o)
My daughter is going to an amusement park tomorrow. I know she'll have fun! :o) I'm going to the doctors early in the morning...and without sleep, I don't know how I'm going to be feeling for the drive. I'll make it....because I have to do it. :o)
Just thought I'd write a bit. I really am enjoying everyones pulling together to celabrate the 3 years of journal! :o) This is fun....and so is the post card game! :o) God bless you all....and thank you for your encouraging comments! :o)

Post Cards and stuff......

Good morning J-Land! :o) I have finally posted my post cards that I have received! :o) Thank you Linda and Sugar! :o) This is a very fun game...is gives someone like me something to look forward to! lol :o)
The celebration graphic I have put on is from Donna...you can visit her journal for more and to come up with a logo for the Light House! This is all just too fun! :o)

Yesterday was just a very sad. My son is on his way back home today. I did get some rest. I felt so exhausted. I layed down and I woke up at 6:30! Wow! I slept for 6 hours straight! My body needed it. I was able to get some sleep last night as well. :o) My left thigh is still really bothering me. I looked at it in the mirror this morning and I have 2 hudge lumps on my lower back left thigh, and 2 smaller lumps on my right back thigh! The cramps are so tight and pretty painful. I'm going to miss my physical therapy tomorrow because of another doctors appointment. I can last longer! :o) God has me! :o) My spine has been killing me too. It's kind of gross that I can actually feel the bones deteriating and rubbing together. eeewww! I've measured myself and I have lost 1/2 of an inch in my heigth! Now I'm just 5'1"! Oh well! :o) I'm used to being short...lol! :o)

I guess this is all for now. :o) Still going to take it easy again today. Again....thank all of you that have commented! I love my J-Land family! :o) God bless all of you! :o)

 

 

What a day already and post cards........

I just love the designs that Donna makes. :o) I also thank everyone else as well. :o)

This is a relaxing photo to me. I was up all night until alittle after 4:00 a.m. this morning. I found out early this morning that a friend of ours past away. It was unexpected. My daughter and I cried and my son is in Gatlinburg right now. He was called and told about it and will be back home tomorrow. I pray for his family's loss.

Love is pulling together against all odds....like my family does. Our strong love and faith pulls us through.

I'm still going to be celebrating J-Lands 3 years. :o) I pray that today will be an ok day pain wise for me. :o) I'm going to work hard at it and rest a lot. :o) I don't have anything planned for today....I cleard  the things that I did have planned to do. I don't have the energy to really do anything. I'm hanging in there. :o)

Again....on the Post Card game....if anyone wants a post card from me in Ohio...Please email me your address and let me know! :o) I still have plenty to send! :o) I haven't received anymore yet. but our mail hasn't came yet toady. :o)

I have a doctors appointment on Monday to see my arthritis doctor. <sigh> It's not as long as a drive as my neurologist is. Whew! :o) Very glad about that one! :o) Well....I'm going to go for now...am having problems typing and seeing. I don't know why...but I think I need to rest a bit. :o) I want to thank all of you for your beautiful comments! :o) They really help me get through my days! :o) God bless all of you! :o)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY J-LAND! :o) Can't believe I've been jounaling for 3 years! lol :o) YAY!

I want to personally thank all of you that have left me comments! Believe me....all of those comments have gotten me through my days...good or bad days! :o) A BIG Thank you to you all! :o) I have had fun meeting all of you! There is a strong bond felt through all of J-Land! :o)

Well...the heat wave has broken finally! Whew! We had a pretty bad storm come in yesterday afternoon that cooled things down. :o) I have a few plants and small trees on my front porch, and it blew one of my trees off in into the yard! It survived! :o) I have a pool in my back yard and the storm blew it across the back yard! Now thats a strong storm! Whew! My daughter and my grandson were taking a nap and slept through it all! LOL I was laying down as well, but it woke me up....plus...I'm not very fond of storms at all! Yikes!

My physical therapist came yesterday morning. Oh boy....when she got to my legs, she had to go deeper to get those cramped up muscles! Ouchie! I have another big lump on my left thigh. When she got to them, it made me cry. It was so hard to lay there and let someone hurt you! :o) But, I know it will and does help me. :o) She always feels bad when she makes me cry. So....all day yesterday and today as well...my left leg is hurting, and still hard to walk on. But I am doing it. :o) I know it will soon pass! :o) My left hand, wrist and upper arm is in the same shape my thigh is in. Again....this too shall pass! :o)

I haven't received any new post cards. I still only have 2! :o) If anyone wants a post card from Ohio just email me and put post card in the subject line! :o) I have plenty to send out! :o)

I also want to thank all of the psp's for all of my graphics! :o) I love them! :o) You all have such great talent! :o) Thank you!

Today I am going to babysit my grandson so my daughter can go to Dayton and sign up for collage! YAY! Very proud of her! :o) So today should be pretty interesting! LOL :o) Afterwards...I plan on taking a nap! LOL I'm sure I'll need it! LOL :o) This is all for now! Again, thank you for your comments! :o) Please come back and visit again! :o)

This and that......

It has been so very hot here in Ohio! Everyday we have heat advisery's. According the our city's weather/news channel, it has gotten up to 104! Not including the humidity. Yikes! I didn't even want to try to go anywhere! I know my whole body would be nothing but a hudge ball of cramps! Ouchie!

But...yesterday I had to go out! I had to pick up a prescription, and a few other errands. Just very glad my car has air conditioning. I had a hard time breathing, and by the time I got home....my body was starting to cramp up on me! The air in the house is set on 71....and boy did it feel good to come back into! :o) I got out of my clothes, and into something cooler! :o) My face was red and sitting in front of my fan also helped to cool my body down. After awhile, I got pretty sick to my stomach. I just can't take the heat anymore. And to think that I used to be a "sun worshiper"...( laying out for a tan). I'd rather be transparent now then not to be able to breath and actually move about! :o)
My daughter and grandson went to visit her dad yesterday, and should be back tonight. It's so quite here without them here. :o)
My home health care aid will be here today. :o) There are a few things that I need help with, so I'm glad she will be coming today. I deffinitly don't want to go back out in this heat! Whew!
I've been getting some sleep finally! :o) My physical therapist really did a great job on rubbing out those cramps in my legs! YAY! :o) I'm grateful that I have my physical therapist and my home health care aid! It really helps to have them. My spine still hurts pretty bad. I've just been watching how I walk and resting a bit. I'm not able to have injections there! Just the muscles in my back. I'm starting to really feel the vertabra's rubbing together now. The spurs must be getting bigger and getting more of them. Geesh! :o)
I didn't receive any post cards yesterday....I hope I get some today! :o) I really love playing! Too bad more aren't doing this. :o) For me...not getting out as often as I'd like to.....it gives me something to do. :o) Plus....something to look forward to. :o)
