Making Christmas cookies : D pictures and video!

I love this video! LOL I was the only one sitting at the table. Kayden desided that he was going to 'make' cookies too! Nena was washing some dishes, so I was just watching him go to town! LOL :o) When I was able to grab my camera, I cought some of the things he was doing! (when he thought no one was looking!) By the time he was done, he had taken my flour cloth and shook it on the table and had flour all over him! LOL Too funny! All he was doing was helping! lol My daughter wanted to make 'those' cookies last night. So, I found the recipe for her. Every Christmas, I used to make these cookies and novelity type cookies and fudge, brownies and cookie bars, all home made! Whew! I would give them to the family's for a gift as well as other gifts. Which was a lot of people! :o) I love to cook and bake. I made the icing as well and just sitting and icing the cookies last night, took about all I had in me to finish! Wow! I had to stop making so many things at Christmas time a few years ago. Then I had to stop making them altogether. :o( I really miss doing it. So now by teaching my daughter the recipe and how to do them, maybe she will carry on the tradition for me! :o) Well, here's a video of Kayden! I wished I could have gotten everything he was doing...too funny and cute! lol :o)

Lisa hope you are enjoying your day dear.  Loved the video and wasn't it nice of Kayden to help with the cookie making.  Good idea to pass the cookie making on to your daughter so she'll have all the family recipes....will be something special each year, know it is for me when I make the holiday treats that my Mom and Grandma used to make at holiday time.  Take care, keep warm your way.
