Ouch!

Baby girl Nadia, who weighed 7.75 kg (17.1 lbs) after birth, lies on a scale in the Siberian city of Barnaul September 26, 2007. One Siberian mother has done more than her fair share to heal Russia's dire population decline. I know!  It's been on the TV here in England and in the newspapers too.  What a massive baby.
I thought my son was big at 9lb 15ozs but this baby is a whopper!
He has already come with 'plenty of central heating' wrapped around his body.  I hope he looses this extra fat or he won't be ablet ocrawl or walk for ages.

Thanks for the picture.  Amazing...isn't it?

I found your journal through Sugars journal.  I think it's great that you are open and honest about things and that is how I like it.  Love that saying that you would rather be hated for who you are than loved for something you're not and have made reference to it on my own journal.  I am sorry that you have so much pain in your life, seems we all have our own measure in one way or another.  Laughter is the best medicine, maybe that's why people think I'm crazy too.  Hope you have a day free of pain today and peace in your heart.  God bless.

I cannot even imagine.... the 12 kids, I could deal with.  Carrying around a 17 lb baby though....yikes.  On the upside, I'd end up with some decent muscle tone, huh?!

She had to be surgically repaired I am sure.  My father was 15 pounds in 1931! But my grandmother had diabetes so that's what made him so big.  He was one of 11.  I thought my last child was huge at 9.15 and unusually long 24 inches!  So glad I'm not doiing that anymore.
