About a doctor appt....

.....Just to let you know, nothing in this journal's entry is toward anyone in specific, I use it to write my feelings, and about my illnesess, and in hopes it might help someone else as I do.I do not pretend nor imatate to be someone I'm not.I have to be careful, apparently someone are way too obsessed with 'my' life. And if you might take an entry wrong and feel that it is about you, I'm sorry but It isn't, it just may seem to coincide with your own life. And if there is something in what I write that "offends" you, options; don't read, or realize that this IS real life, and get out of your plastic bubble and learn more about it! I also know that what I write in MY journal, that NOT everyone will agree with me and I don't expect them to! God bless you!......

I know why my right arm is the way it is! I'll get back to that in a minute!
I had an appointment to see my arthritis doctor today. He's that one that always has to squeeze my knuckles! Yikes! Needless to say...he has my body all worked up! Plus my physical therapist came this morning! LOL So...I am pretty much in pain in all places of my body! Geesh! I really like this doctor, the medicine that he gave me really worked on me. It's Indocin. When he ariginally gave it too me, it was 50mg. 3xday. But....my stupid doctor is the one that took it down to 25 mg. 2xdy! This doctor wasn't very happy about that and neither was I. He gave me the right script today, so I know I'll be feeling better! :o) The only way that I can describe how it helps me is that I feel like my joints are getting oiled...like the Tim Man! :o) Truly!
So...I know I'm going to feel better! :o) But that means that my pill reminder will be going off 3 x's a day now! LOL :o) I'm not going to be able to go anywhere, (like I do anyways) or take a nap! Good Grief! :o)

Ok...now about my arm. That doctor need some labs done so he can get me on meds. for my osteoporosis. I go in and I show the lady my right arm. My left arm is very hard to get anything from. So I just have everyone tap out of my right arm! Saves their time and more pain for me. She looked at it and knew what it was right off. Yay! :o) The last time that I went to the ER...they put an I.V. in that arm and they did it while I was in the ambulance moving! They're not suppose to drive away from the curb until everything is done. I do remember seeing a lot of blood coming up into the I.V. which I do know isn't suppose to happen. Well...she said that what happened is that I.V. had slipped and hit into a few muscles and what ever they were putting in me through the I.V. got into a few of my arm muscles! Ick! And that makes so much sense now. She told me to keep switchting from a hot and a cold compress on my arm. I'm going to do that. I only wish I had taken a picture of my arm that night! I still have that appointment to go see my stupid doctor on Wednesday. I'm not holding my breath but, I am hoping he can actually help my arm! <crossing fingers, toes and eyes> So, this really has been a great day! Whew! I was wondering! lol :o)

Thank you for your emails and kind comments! :o) Whatever you do today...make sure you laugh! :o)

My goodness what a nightmare with your arm.  It's amazing that people can get away with doing things like that, yet you have to keep suffering because of it.  I'm glad you got the prescription that you wanted though *yay*

Well, at least you have it confirmed now what' s wrong with your arm.  My DD had difficulty with a blood drawing once that sounds similar just not quite as bad as yours.  Have a good evening.

OUCH!!!! I can feel that pain in arm. The day I had my csection with Rebecca, a trainee put in my IV well she didn't do it right and the iv just went into arm and my arm swelled the size of a grapefruit later that day. The doctor seen it and he went off on that trainee. It took days for the swelling to go down and man did it hurt. ((((((Hugs))))))
Love,
Cindy

Lisa sounds like you are getting some help and meds to help you and glad to hear your arm problem wasn't a blood clot dear.  Know each day is tough, but hang in there. Arlene (AJ)

When I had my 1st seizure, the EMT's were trying to put an IV in me.  They did get it in but it scarred up my arm! Stupid jerks!  Anytime after that, they just gave me oxygen.
