Ok, this is just another update on my arm and just talking

.....Just to let you know, nothing in this journal's entry is toward anyone in specific, I use it to write my feelings, and about my illnesess, and in hopes it might help someone else as I do.I do not pretend nor imatate to be someone I'm not.I have to be careful, apparently someone are way too obsessed with 'my' life. And if you might take an entry wrong and feel that it is about you, I'm sorry but It isn't, it just may seem to coincide with your own life. And if there is something in what I write that "offends" you, options; don't read, or realize that this IS real life, and get out of your plastic bubble and learn more about it! I also know that what I write in MY journal, that NOT everyone will agree with me and I don't expect them to! God bless you!......

My nurse just left about a half hour ago. I have 4 more of those squishy lumps that just developed last night while I was asleep. They hurt! I can move my arm, but again I still have restrictions! ggrrr! And here I thought that they were going away, or something like that.
My nures took a look at my arm and felt the bigger lump thats moving up my arm and had noticed how much it has moved. So....all she told me to do was keep a warm/hot wash cloth on it! What? I told her about my doctors appointment and she wasn't happy about him not giving my any medicine to help break them down. I've had this Since October 26th....and you'd think that I wouldn't be getting anymore and that they would be going away!

She told me if the pain in my arm gets any worse, to call her. But what can she do about it? I thought she would have already when she was here. Oh well....this too shall pass.
I'm really feeling a bit of anxiety over all of this crap. I'll put the warm/hot wash cloth on it like she and the doctor said to do. I have been and nothing has helped them. I'll just keep trying.

My daughter just called and told me that she and my grandson will be coming over today. :o) That is a great medicine for me! :o)

I'm done for now....arm is hurting still. Thank you all for your support! It doesn't go without being appreciated! :o) Please don't forget to sign my guest book! :o) God bless all of you!

(hint) some people don't know this But you can put a damp washcloth in the microwave and set it for a few seconds and your cloth is just right and do this again when it cools, saves time and squeezing......
relax in a hot tub if you can get in and out safely..calgon 'take me away'.........

does sound yucky. maybe it does take a couple of weeks. and maybe it's a good sign if they are breaking up into smaller bumps which I would not know at all.  but can you call your primary doctor and ask esp. if the pain is worse... ask if anything should be done for the increase in pain. hugs,

Lisa having your daughter and grandson over will be a pick me up for you, just be careful with your arm so not to make it worse.  If it doesn't get better in the next week or so or you see more lumps....go to the ER, don't wait.  Arlene (AJ)

If this has been there for nearly 3 weeks Lisa, I'd go to the ER before the weekend. These things are getting worse at a rate of knots.

I really think you should go back to the doctor and have him list ALL of your options for treatment. -Missy

Lisa, I would not mess around with this ~ get yourself to the doctor or better yet the ER.  Seriously.

Lisa,
I don't know alot about this but, is this  a blood clot??  Didn't the Dum F u&*even tell you to take an aspirin per day.  My friend has a blood clot in her leg and was in alot of pain from it before it was diganosed...Her dr. has her taking an aspirin per day and ran a bunc of tests on her.
If so, should you be on blood thinners???
Why don't you call the dr ask...or better yet, get DH to call and chew him a new ass hole.
Good Luck.
Love,
Donna

Surely what your doctor says is right ~ he's the one that trained to the higher degree than the nurse?  You poor thing having this to add to your list!!  Hope you had fun with your grandson though xx

If you aren't sure about the care you are receiving, you do need to call the Dr and ask him questions.

I feel so badly about all of this Lisa.  I wish there was something I could do for you, I feel so helpless.  Stay positive and don't let the pain defeat who you are.  Luv ya!

((((((((((((((((((((LISA))))))))))))))))))))I cant belive your Doctor, you need a new one.You need to get helo from being in pain.My Mom doesnt like me to have pain killers, because,I gtet addicted to them fast. But I finally had to have something my pain and swelling. But I think its giving me a little head ache, maybe due to the fact I havent eat much.I do hope and pray you feel better.

I don't trust your dr. as far as I could throw him.  Sounds like he will have a malpractice suit one of these days if he hasn't already by someone else!  The moe reason o pray, pray, pray for you.  The good dr. puts you on meds and the bad one changes them.  I had a bad dr. and changed.  I'm so glad I did.
Hugs,
D
