~A quick little update~

On Friday, the doctor told me that he was going to have a nurse come in my home as well. Well, a little bit ago, I got a call from a nurse from Fidelity Nursing out of Dayton. She came to see me at 3:30!
Now, that shows and tells me that my doctor isn't messing around! Wow! that was fast!
Since I already have a physical therapist and a home health aid coming here through an agency from here in Piqua, she went ahead and called them, so now a nurse will be coming tomorrow to see me from that agency! Now thats fast! That doctor is on top of things! Wow! Alot better then my old one, thats for sure! I just had to write about this because I was amazed at how fast all of this is going! My head is still spinning from the MS news....and he's getting everything in the works for me! :o) This is good! :o) I'm done now! :o)

Lisa, sweetie, this is GREAT news!  A doctor that knows the score, and doesn't waste time ordering the new things you need to care for you!  All right!  It's about time!

Sometimes you family can be so close that they just can't see your problems, and your feeling that you have to spell it out and shouldn't have to, is natural.  I understand that frustration and also can see how that could "sting."

A shower ALWAYS makes me feel better, so hope you get some one to help you get one if you need to.

Lisa, I think God is finally taking action and that you WILL get some new help that you so much deserve. At least, that is what I pray!  Good luck with the new plan of action!

I am so sorry about your illness'!  I live in Springfield Ohio and Have chronic pain. I was diagnosed with arthritis about 3 months ago.  I also am going to be tested for fibermyalgia soon. I am very angry right now because I am only 34 years old and have a 3 year old daughter!!  I am trying to deal but it has been very hard. My husband does not understand and expects me to do alot more than I can.  I am very depressed and do not even want to leave the house.  I guess I just need an ear from someone who understands. Thanks for listening.

I am so glad that you found such a great doctor and he is doing things so quickly for you Lisa.  I'm so sorry about the MS but you knew it was more than just the FM in your legs.  I have a lot of the same problems you do and I could tell that there was more going on with you also and you needed the right doctor, thank God you found him!!! Yay!  I'm so glad that at least you are getting your needs taken care of medically.  I hope your family turns around and sees that you need their attention a little more.  I pray for you every day because I know what it is to live with pain daily, granted we are all different but you are a wonderful person and you have a good heart.  Hang in there, we are all here to support you here best we can.  ((hugs)) Charmaine
