~Results are in~

Good evening all! :o) Just on for a bit. :o) I didn't really have to wait today for my results of my EMG test. It was pretty apparent to my doctor to what I do have.

I do have Multiple Sclerosis. I did ask alot of questions, and will get into that more tomorrow. I really like this neurologist, he's already on this, and is sending me to Cincinnatti to an ms specialist.

There's good news and some bad, but...how I see it...at least I finally know now! :o) That is so much off of my mind! :o) Whew! Just put me in your prayers! I need to look at the good of what I was told today.

Gods blessings to all of you! :o)

Lisa....there was some good that came out of it. You finally got confirmation of what's going on in your body.  AND...you *like* the Neurologist and he's on top of the situation.  That is POSITIVE.  The other side to all this is now you have put the word out to your J-Land friends and you will get lots of support here.  You have my number---give me a call ***ANY TIME***!!!  I love ya, girl!
BIG HUGS,
Gina

I always remember you, Lisa.  The way I look at is this.  You've been dealing with it already for a good while now, they just put a name on it today.  So now you can get to the specialist and get on with the proper treatment.  I have a friend who popped up with ms and she researched and started really managing her diet (in addition to what the doctors said to do) and has been doing great for better than 12 years now.  it's not the sentence it used to be.

We're all here.  Holler my way if you need to vent.

You will remain in my thoughts and prayers,

Andi

My ex-daughter-in-law has MS, so this hits rather close to home.  One thing about it, they are learning new things about this all the time, and I expect a cure one of these days.  God bless you.

At least you have a definite diagnosis, and you can go on from there. Hope your support base, both at home and in the medical world, will strengthen and rally to your aid.

Hi Lisa,
I am happy that you finally have some conclusions.
Now you may work on a plan to fight this.

Maybe if I get a chance I will email you and tell you more about it.
I got it at Borders last week, they were sold out but I put in order for it, they called in less tahn a week.

There is nothing like seeing the face of the enemy!   Now you know what you are looking at, it is so much better than the fear of the unkown.   May this knowledge give you strength and support.   A lot of people are praying for you ad I am one of them.....Jeanie
