Today

Good morning. Again, was able to get a few more hours of sleep. :o)
I didn't do anything yesterday. I sat in bed with the heating blanket on, resting my legs and hips. It has helped alot. They still are in pain, but I am able to walk a bit better now. :o) I'm glad about that.
It seems like I've been up all night again because I got up so early. :o) Thats ok. I'm used to it now.
My husband got my medicine as well yesterday. But not without an arguement! I'm deffinetly getting a new pharmacy! This is scary to me! He came home with my meds and told me that the same lady that told him that they were "physically" out of the medicine, argued with him, telling him that it had already been filled and picked up!!! NO WAY! He told her no....You are the same person that told me that you were "physically" out of the medicine! She said again that it says in the computer...keyword: computer......that they weren't out, it was filled, and picked up!!! No it hadn't! My husband again said it again to this lady! Finally, someone from the back came up front and said yes...they were out and here is her perscription! Now...I'm wondering, how many people have had this happen to them and just had to go without!? In my opinion, they need to be turned in! What if I was out, went in to pick it up, and was told that it was already picked up....thinking that my husband had gotten it! Now, having it in their computer that way as well! I think thats ilegal! Thats a lie! And you don't mess around with medicine! Something just doesn't make me feel safe about any of that happening! It's the Medicine Shoppe! I'm changing to CVS!

My daughter and my grandson went down to Bellbrook to visit with her dad yesterday. The house is just too quit! I miss my snuggle bunny! :o) When I'm resting in my bed, he'll come on and sit with me and watch tv. :o) He is so speciale to me! :o) I hope they come back today. ;o) I need that "full house" noise! LOL :o)
I'm going to just do the samething today. I honestly don't have much of a choice.
My best friend had an accident on her job! :o( One of her clients accidently ran over her foot with her wheel chair and my girl friend fell back and onto the back of a chair. She broke a vertabra, and her foot is swollen. She's off work for awhile! Because she needs to have her back fully healed for what she does on her job! So now she's layed up in bed now too! Plus...when she was going to the ER, her mom was there as well! :o( She has congestive heart failure! She stayed in the hospital, and now the doctor doesn't want her to go home! He wants her to go to an assisted living for 2 weeks to heal. I worry about her so much. :o( My best friend is as gracefull as I am! LOL :o)

Tomorrow, I'm suppose to go to my arthritis specialist. I'm going to call and cancel it. He wants me to take water arobic classes, and I just can't do it. And he just doesn't understand that when I tell him. I would love to, but I can't do them. He said the last time I was there that the next time I come back, I should be in a class. Sorry, but I'm not. I'm the one that knows my body and what it's doing and what it's not doing.
So, where is everyone at? I haven't heard from Jackie, Nelishia, and so many others! J-Land doesn't seem the same anymore. If someone didn't go private, it seems that they've left.

I think I'm going to get something to eat. Then go back to bed and rest. :o) Watch a few more movies. :o) And get the heating blanket on! :o)
Thankyou for your emails and comments! :o) Gods blessings to you! :o)

That is scary stuff about the pharmacy.  I've been in that position.  And the dealing with the doctor's office.  The bottom line is that mistakes happen and they shouldn't but WE have to deal with them.  I get exactly what you were saying and feeling.  I believe it makes us feel like we can't control our own lives. When, the pharmacy screws up, WE PAY for it by having to wait.  Not right!  Good luck with CVS.  Have a great Sunday.

I'd report that pharmacy, Lisa, that is extremely bad customer service. You don't treat customers (patients) like that, period.

We have a Medicine Shoppe in my Ohio city also AND they just opened a clinic of theirs attached to the pharmacy where you pay $35 to a physicians assistant to diagnose you and give out pills and scripts.

I would change pharmacies.  Usually when a pharmacy is out, they can call another pharmacy in the area to see if they have it or have your script transferred.  Den went to get his pain meds at Rite Aid.  The pharmacist had his prior authorization in her hand but Medicaid kept rejecting it stating he needed a P.A.  He just got one last month to last 3 mos.  The pharmacist was on the phone for over 40 minutes with Medicaid getting it straightened out.  Grrrr!  Stupid idiots!Sorry to hear about your friend.  She is in my prayers.
Hugs,
Dana

Do you guys have a costco close to you? I hear that they are cheaper and the people I know that go there have never had a problem getting their scripts filled. I do hope that you have a great sunday!

Hi lisa,
I agree with the comment below.
I have found Cosco to be the cheapest.
My sister says Sam's Club it.
You don't need to be a member at either place to fill prescriptions.
I know what you mean about the water class.
Too hard for you to get there, get around ect.
Some DRS. just don't get how you feel, do they?
Sorry if I have repeated myself but don't remember who I typed what to...
Found out on Friday that my car is a total loss.
It cannot be repaired, the frame is bent.
I am angry with all the inconveniece this has brought me.
Hope you have  a good day.
Love,
Donna

I just went to Pharmolo's journal and found out that Jackie's brother is in hospice now and  not expected to live more than a few hours.  The last time I went to Nelishia's journal it was her last entry before her daughter came.  I take it she was going to be veryi busy with her and  grand child and said she might be gone a while.  You are sounding like you are still hanging in there despiite the problem with your legs getting a llittle worse.  So sorry. But I am lad your daughter and grandson are giving you pure joy.  Gerry

I love the song you put here.   I'm glad you can walk some, and I do wish for you no more hassles with your Rx's, and lessened pain:)   I, too, would ahve thought water aerobics would be good, but, as you point out, you know yourself.  -- Robin

I'm glad you got your medicine.  Don't you have to sign for it?  That you preclude getting things mixed up like that.  I would definitely switch to a different pharmacy!
