+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I just need to log and talk/type. I'm still having some difficulty with my latest health news.
I was told about my left lung, but for the life of me, I can't remember all of it. All I do remember hearing is that it's bad and making my heart drop lower because the lung is bad. And having CHF, is making it harder on me. Thats it. I guess what happened is when I was being told, I must have been on auto pilet and just went through the motions. I can remember seeing them, and their mouth moving, but thats it. To be completly honest, I don't want to hear it. Just not righ now.

I keep reminding myself that God gives us gifts, and nothing more than you can handle. I know that I truly feel that I'm loosing it and having a MAJOR meltdown right now. It's in God's hands. Thats where it's going to stay.

Yesterday evening, dh and I watched Kayden. The poor baby is sick again. Actually, we all are. Another round of what ever we had before! My daughter and her husband went shopping for the new baby. :o) Wow! They got so much adorable things for him! They don't need anything else, except for a lot of new born diapers. :o) They also got Kayden a few things. That cheered him up. :o) I hate to see when he is sick. I'd much rather have him running around then so quit and sleepy. Bless him.

My new physical therapist bought me a neck collar. I couldn't belive that he did that for me. He told me that since most of my pains stem from that area, then my head needs to be resting on something. It really does work. It's just like putting your arm in a sling to help your shoulders feel better. Like not using the body part thats in a sling or something, does help tremdously. I recomend getting the neck collar/brace.
I stayed in bed yesterday. I'm trying to get used to doing that. I hate it! Most of my life has been taken from me and not being able to just go somewhere is a crock! My idenity as well. Because of the stupid dentest that made my upper teeth all wrong and you can't tell I even have upper teeth! My face has deformed from this. No, this is not a vanity thing going on here, they are so wrong, I can't take a bite from a sandwich or something. My teeth just do this 'slide' thing. And if I'm not able to chew properly, that also effects my body's system. gggrrrr!

On Tuesday, I see a pulmanary doctor. I like him. He also is the doctor that monitors my sleep. And gave me the oxygen.
I need to go now. Thank you for your comments. They help me.

Just you take time to get over this Lisa.  It is certainly a big shock for you and towards your attitude to life as you know it.
If I know you of old you *will* bounce back again.  It isn't helping having everyone poorly around you...I know.
Poor little Kayden too.
You are such a positive person normally.  Your neck collar sounds such a blessing for you.  Doesn't it?  Little things like that can make such a difference.
I'm sending you a smile and a big hug too.  Just hang in there my friend and rest up for now until they get your lung problem sorted out.
Take care.
Praying for your comfort.
Hugs

Don't blame you for shutting down when the docs are talking to you - yet another thing you have to get to terms with. I'm sorry to hear that even lil Kayden is not well. Wishing you all strength at this difficult time.

2 wks ago i was deathly sick...ended up in the ER....i had asthma attack after asthma attack and acute bronchitis. I missed over a week of work. EVERYONE i know around me has pneumonia, bronchitis or lung infections. I had that oxygen thing on my finger and my # was in the 80's and i had breathing treatments and a lung scan. It was just AWFUL. SO, i can relate to you feeling overwhelmed with all that is going on with you and i hate to hear your entire family is sick again. This has been a hell of a winter!
love,lisa

Dear just try and take it easy and not worry about your heart/lung.....know it's not easy hearing that your lung is having problems, hopefully when you see the Doctor they will be able to come up with some help for you.  Be sure if you can have someone go with you to your Doctor visits with you so they will be able to ask questions/hear the Doctors words.  Know when you are having lots of stess it's best to take someone with you who can ask questions, clarify what is or isn't, etc. Just take care.  Good to hear the neck collar is helping you. Bless you. Arlene (AJ)

Hi Lisa,
I think it's natural to kind of "shut down" when your Doc is giving you serious news. If you have any questions in the upcoming week don't hesitate to call him and have him answer any of them. If you have knowledge about your conditions it might not be so scary. Then, you can make a plan of action.
My friend Joey used to do that when he would get news of his Cancer. He would shut down for a week or so....and then when he was ready to deal with things he'd consult with his Doc and make a plan. Sometimes you just need that "down time" though.  Then, when you rejuvenate, you can go back into the fight.
You're a sweetie, and I'm so sorry you are going through this. I wish I could make it all better for you.
Hugs to you,
Pam xoxox

Oh that graphic but I know that is how you must feel at times. Patched up and barely holding together.  Sorry you are all sick again including Kayden.  I hated it when my kids and grandkids were sick.  I would worry about my grandson's asthma.  My son Dan was startlingly healthy and hardly ever got sick.  I was thankful for that.  Hope this virus does not hit you too hard.  yes, laying around and beng lazy probably runs contrary to your habits of many years.  Like putting hobbles on a race horse.  I used to tell myself over and over that people can stand only so much pain and then comes relief.  I know you are almost hitting your maximum for pain right now.  But I also know that mother and grandmother love keeps you battling through, just like at our baby's birth, we go through the pain to get them and be with them.  Hope you can rest and get something good out of it.   Gerry

Hi Lisa.  I take it that by you not leaving an entry today your day wasn't very good at all.  I feel so badly for you and wish I could do something for you.  Just stay strong, I know it is hard to do sometimes, and do the best you can with what you have been given.  Luv ya!
