~*~*~*~*~*Update~*~*~*~*~

I got a phone call from the cardiologist's office about a half hour ago. No....things aren't what the nurse told me. On top of the congestive heart failure, I now have some problems with my left lung. Because of the left lung is bad, thats what making my heart bad.
The echo test is what showed this. So, 2 tests weren't fine. They want me to continue using my inhaler for my lungs and oxygen when I lay down so it can help my heart. I am numb. I actually cried for the first time. I'm to go back for the follow up appointment in 2 weeks. To me that seems like a long time.
I feel like a zombie. This is not what I expected to hear. But isn't that the way it usually is?
I just need to go. I really need to talk. I need to lay down is what I should do. bye.

Lisa,
I am sorry you are low.
It helps me to cry so I am glad that you got it out.
Not good to keep bottled up.
I am confused...is this the dr. you do not like?
Love,
D.

Dear Lisa
I am so sorry to read your shocking news.  How could thae nurse get it so wrong?
Just you let it all out either by writing it all down here on your journal or by letting go and crying.  This is just too much for anyone to bear on top of everything else.
I wish I could give you a hug properly you poor angel!
Please know that I will pray for God to give you strength to fight this setback.
You will come back out on top of this because you always do.  You are such a determined soul.
God Bless you
Hugs
Jeanie xxxx

Lisa you hang in there, know the 2 week wait won't be easy, but by the time you get in to see them they will have further analyzed your Echo, Stress, etc. tests and will be better able to help you when you see the Cardiologist and others.  Know this isn't what you wanted to hear but, at least you know what is going on there dear.  Just hang in, try not to worry, won't help with the stress/anxiety. You're in my special thoughts and prayers. Arlene (AJ)

If I were experiencing these calls and bad news I know I would feel the same as you, stunned and in shock.  This is going to take some adjustment.  I am sure the doctors hate to pass on such news to someone as young as you are.  I think as I write of all the pain Pierre suffered through the 4 years I knew him.  He was a very brave man.  I will always admire him for the manner in which he fought for his life and I know I will always admire you for the same reason.  I will  always remember you for how much love you show your family even though bad things keep happening with your health.  In many ways I have never seen such a strong person.  When there is nothing to do but keep fighting for life.  May the angels keep you company and hold your hand.  I know you are being watched over.  And that you will seek life as long as you possibly can do it.  I know that for sure.  Gerry

Things just dont' seem to get any better for you.  I wish I could say something to make all the misery go away and that you would be feeling like normal again.  I hope you have a decent weekend.

Sweet Lisa.  I hope that your weekend will have some happiness even though you seem so down right now.  Stay optimistic and try to smile no matter whet cause the alternative just isn't good.  : )

I'm so sorry Lisa.  This is why nurses shouldn't say anything.  They need to leave it to the dr.  I finally wrote about my new medical problems 2 days ago & I was shocked.  But it is nothing compared to what you go thru.  After writing it out and thinking about it, I now realize what can I do to live with it.  So that is what I'm dealing with now.  Praying for ya!
Hugs,
D

maybe in a few weeks when you go back they will give you a complete update that calms your fears or at least tells you once and for all what all is going on.
