Just things thats happening.

I have a question to eveyone else that reads this that has fibromyalgia. For a few weeks now, I've noticed that I've been having trouble swollowing. I have to keep my head straight, and at times it is like like muslces in my throat won't work. Has this happened to anyone else? It gets to a point to where I will choke. I've been noticing more and more new things and places that are hurting, and has stayed. As if this is progressing once again. It does bother me. Because sometimes I have to wonder what's next and where it will happen. I've also noticed that my body is getting more numb. Which I still don't understand that one. When I was taking the temprature of water that I was using in a bath, it was 137 degrees, and it felt fine to me! My husband baught me a candy thermometor so I can see how hot or cold water is for me. If I would have gotten in that water, I could have seriously hurt myself. Things like this are starting to be more and more noticable and staying. Other then all of the pain I go through everyday, I go through this as well. My eye sight has gotten worse too. My eye doctor can only give me reading glasses because of the nerve damage behind my eyes. I'm just going to have to call my doctor about all of the things I've been noticing more of lately. I would really appreciate any and all comments. :o)

Lisa, is your DR 100% sure you have Fibromyalgia??? I have been doing research and the Mayo Clinic says Fibro does not progress (for which I am ery thankful). Plus I can find nothing that says lumps may form (and your's look really bad and very painful). I am really worried about you. I am so afraid there may be something really bad wrong with you. You have been diagnosed with a tumor, I can't find where Fibro leads to tumors either. You really need to visit with your DR and maybe even seek out a specialist like a rheumatologist (misspelled) or someone like that. The trouble swallowing and choking is a scary thing. Numbness and tingling is a part of fibro. I myself find that I can tolerate hotter and hotter water than I ever could before. Maybe this is because I have some numbness that I don't realize until I'm using really hot water.  Frequent eye glass changes are part of the fibro also. Could it be possible you have fibro along with something else? Please, please question your DR good about all of this. Maybe there is something that can be done to help you if it isn't all fibro.
About things getting moved. Let "them" move the things to were they want them and enjoy it. I know I would.
Keep us informed.
Blessings.

Dianne,
From back in 1994, the doctors thought I had MS as well. I've been through so many test for it and nothing has shown up. I've been to a rhuemitaudologist already, and nothing has shown up. Yea, the tumor situation does bother me and makes me wonder. Because he told me that I'll get more of them and they can appear any place in my body! I don't understand that one either, and he said it has something to do with the fibro. I haven't seen it anywhere where I've looked it up too. The swollwoing thing is kind of scary. My muscles just don't work half the time. And the muscle lumps are weird. I've never heard or seen anyone else as to having them. I don't get that one either. And my neurologist and my family doctor has seen them and felt them. I just don't know what to do or think.
