~The results were better!~

Ok...here's the scoop....finally seen the arthritis specialist this morning. I was able to get copies of the test results as well....because I didn't forget! lol...Whew! I've been more forgetful latelty then normal...lol..whatever normal is! :o) Of course, he just had to come over and "squeeze" my joints in my fingers, hands, wrists, etc... and of course it hurt like you know what!!! Ouchie! Well...now my knucles on my left hand our pretty swollen up and are hurting. But....I told him about what my neurologist told me about SMS-Stiffman Syndrome. Plus about what happened the last time I went to the pain clinic! Just thinking about that and talking about that makes my stomach flip! Ok....Yes...I do have fibromyalgia and he also said that yes, if the neurologist is already treating me for SMS and from what I told him about my past experiances at the pain clinic with the muslce injections, that it is more then likely that I do have that as well. I asked him if I can have both...( maybe a stupid question) he said yes I could. He gave me another arthretic medication toady. This one will help my bursitis as well. Cool! :o) So...today has put so much into one big pile now in my head, instead of a million piles! lol :o) Thats better! :o)

On the way home, we were going through this small town. There is a very nice place there that have all kinds of medical supplies. Nothing new, all have been donated to them! :o) I wanted to see if the had any lift chairs. They didn't, but I did see something that I could really use! :o) I bed rail to help me pull myself up and out of bed! The way that they operate is through "good faith" and with the larger things like hospital beds, which I had to use one of there's before, and lift chairs, you need a script from the doctor. Other then that, you sign a paper and on your good faith, when you are done needing it, you return it in good condition. :o) Plus, I gave them some money for donation, because when we pulled in, the man was just getting in his truck to leave for lunch. He got out and opened it up just for us. :o) So...I hurried as fast as I could. They are the nicest people there that you would want to meet! :o) I came home and took my new pills and relaxed a bit and then got on line! :o) Still trying to play catch up with my alerts too! :o)

Thank you all for you emails and comments.....and God blesses you all everyday! :o)

I'm glad that you finally got things cleared up, that must be a huge weight off your mind to know exactly what is going on.  It sounds like you had a fairly good day (except for when the doctor squeezed your joints, lol).  I hope that new bed railing helps you.  Those people that you got it from sound super nice!  Hope you had a great weekend!
xoxo, Heather

Sounds like you are getting everything you need and your treatment is going well.

Very nice to have a store with medical equipment you can use when you need it.  That has got to be  nice.
