My Mama and my paternal grandmother had RA so it runs on boths sides of my family.  Since my Mama passed away in 1/04, we have been working with the Arthritis Foundation raising money and doing the walks every year.  The rest of my family suffers from OA which I do to along with carpal tunnel, osteomyelitis, plantar fascilitis, DJD, spinal stenosis, tendinitis, tennis elbow, traumatic arthritis plus 3 sleep disorders.  I've been tested for RA and thank God, I don't have it.  My Mama suffered so much from it.  And I have enough different forms of arthritis as it is.  I didn't know there were so many until I got involved with the foundation.  You have my daily prayers, Lisa.  Hugs,  Dana
