Dear Lisa, God Bless You !! I am an individual, 47 years old, Gay and African American, who has been living with AIDS, since 1992 ( I was HIV Positive from then, until 1999, when my condition advanced... ) I have to Live with My immune system being compromised by every little " Bug ", that goes around.. I am sick, often.., and the side effects from all the medications I need to take Daily ( including an injection of Medication, I take, twice daily.. ). I get very depressed, and although I hate to even admit this, suicidal... But, I then realize that whatever obstacles that I have to overcome, God ( or whatever Higher Power one believes... ) has me hear, now, for some reason and purpose !! Life, is a Gift , that I have cherished, for many Years. Although I have been Blessed, with a Partner of 13 years ( Who also has the virus, and is an insulin dependant Diabetic, taking no less than 5 injections Daily... ), I have lost My Family ~ Passed on ~ and Though I have so many Great Memories, of the last 47 years, I have to wonder, why God ?? Why am I still here and in this condition ?? All of the sudden, someone asks of My Help, and I get it ! I wanted to share this with You because, reading Your Story, I was very Touched !!
