I have to dance while the music plays,
To move my feet to the rhythm of the band.
Though my thick brown hair belies my age,
I need to move while I can stand.
I have to sing while the melody plays,
To belt forth the lyrics of another song.
Though my hoarse voice cracks and quivers,
I need to sing while I’m still strong.
I have to write while words inspire,
To put pen to paper in ragged rhymes.
Though my time approaches in steady fashion,
I need to scribe these words of mine.
I have to love though my heart’s been broken,
To cherish our memories throughout the years.
Though you’ve left me not of your own accord,
I still see your face through my veil of tears.

How lovely ..love Jan xx
Great attitude Lisa. I forwarded and email that you may want to post or para-phrase on your journal. Everday is what you make it, you define your life. Don't hand-over control of you life to an illness. I applaud your spirit.
Be well,
Barney

very beautiful
I thought this a lovely poetic and sensitive message. I hope you dance your way into love and beauty in your next life. This one has been a learning and lovely one too. No gain without pain and you will advance in your heart, soul and mind to speed your way along. You will experience more than most do because of the love of the creator for you. Nothing will be lost ever.
